Pricing Information
HOSPITALS:
If you use Private Health Insurance (PHI) for IV or LA you will pay a maximum $100 (except Adelaide $300) gap plus any excess. Most clients who have PHI Hospital cover will be covered for vasectomy and the hospital will run a final check for you a few days prior to the procedure date to confirm. You can also contact your health fund if you wish and quote item number 37623 to confirm your cover and excess.
If you do NOT use Private Health Insurance (PHI) and use Medicare only then for LA you will pay between $730 at an MSIA Day Hospital and up to $1,050 at our other private Day Hospitals.
If you do NOT use Private Health Insurance (PHI) and use Medicare only then for IV Sedation you will pay between $795 at an MSIA Day Hospital and up to $1,250 at our other private Day Hospitals.
MEDICAL CENTRES:
All medical centres charge $510 out of pocket after an initial payment of $551.40 including deposit and a Medicare claim back of $41.40 for all Medicare card holders.
If you do not have a Medicare Card the price for Local Anaesthetic will be $880 in a Medical Centre and it will be $1,390 in a Day Hospital, and the price for IV sedation will be $1,590 in a Day Hospital only.
